Jean Maye is an international best-selling author of social care workbooks for children and young adults. She is also a children’s fiction and picture book author but is also venturing into adult fiction.  

In 2016, she set up Mouse Chased Cat Productions Ltd and has since become a multi-award-wining screenwriter and producer with several IMDb credits to her name. Her awards can be viewed on both of her websites. 

Having come from a background in this field much of her work taps into real-life issues in one way or another, whether this be writing for adults or children. 

Her creative writing skills are supported by a varied range of qualifications including a master’s degree in Creative Writing at Kingston University, a summer course at Oxford University, and various seminars and workshops.
