Jean is an international bestselling author of children’s books. She writes fiction and non-fiction.   

Having come from a background in the field of social care, much of her work taps into real-life issues in one way or another, whether this be writing for adults or children. 

Her creative writing skills are supported by a varied range of qualifications including a master’s degree in Creative Writing at Kingston University, a summer course at Oxford University, and various seminars and workshops. 

Jean’s love for children’s fantasy stems from her childhood and her love for Enid Blyton. C.S Lewis, J.R.R Tolkien and Kenneth Grahame. 

Jean is a full member of the Writers’ Guild of Great Britain.

In 2016, she set up Mouse Chased Cat Productions Ltd and has since become a multi-award-wining screenwriter and producer with several IMDb credits to her name. Her awards can be viewed on both of her websites.
